Jeanie's Collage T-Shirt Quilt

Last year I made a T-shirt quilt for a girlfriend at work. I don't remember showing it to the quilt group, so I thought I'd post it here. My challenge was to make a T-shirt quilt using T-shirts, toddler shirts and photos of her children. I chose a collage setting and personalized it by printing out photos of her children on those special printable photo sheets. She loved it ; boy was I glad because it was a struggle to make this colorful and interesting. For interest, I appliqued one of the boy's shirts and socks to it. Can you see my "orphan" sashing pieces set into it? Like we were all saying at quilt group... it IS a challenge to make a T-shirt quilt imaginative, but with the addition of photos, applique and some unused orphan blocks, it can turn out fairly good.
