Our table runner door prize

After staying up late madly stitching the binding, I am glad to be able to say that the table runner is finished. Ann will take it to the Coversation and Culture meeting today and pass it on to the winner, Elena from Chili. Great teamwork everyone!!!

Conversation and Culture

On September 23rd, our group led a talk about quilting. Who attended? Our very own Carlisle Barrack Wive's club and the wives of the foreign War College students. Bonnie led our discussion using a slide show and we held up samples of our own quilts for the audience. After the discussion we each manned a work station and demonstrated our craft. Our work stations became an assembly line; the end product was a nine-patch table runner that was raffled off to one of the foreign wives. The Chilean wife, who won the table runner, was thrilled to receive it.
