Embellished Valentine Wallhanging

I finally finished my Valentine wall hanging. I embellished the hearts with beads, ribbon, lace and some quilting. This does not have a binded edge. The scallop edging has batting in the middle. I made the edging by itself, then sewed it to the main piece by turning the fabric to form a binding-less edge. Next step was to miter the corners with the batting already in it. It was awkward, but I did manage it without too much trouble after I finished the first corner. Since I did two of these (one for my daughter Anne) I must get to finishing the second one.
